Robert Bonine
I’ve always had a passion for teaching and coaching and a drive for excellence. While in college I considered a career in education but gravitated toward financial economics as I liked the idea of working with people and numbers a bit more. I enjoy grinding through the data but as I’ve grown in my profession I’ve identified a need to keep clients interested. I place a high priority on making financial planning an enjoyable process where clients can get excited about all their hard work and short term sacrifices.
Ultimately, I find it rewarding helping people identify what is important to them and monetizing those priorities. I like watching them dream big and showing them how they can pursue those dreams. If you aren’t in our business it is sometimes difficult to grasp the idea of saving now for later. I feed off the challenge to help coach, teach, and partner with my clients.
Outside of the office I spend time with my wife Jenna, and our daughters Leighton, Barrett and Sutton. We live in St. Paul surrounded by family and make routine trips to our community parks. I coach football at Roseville High School in the fall and enjoy golfing, playing softball, and following the local sports scene. I serve as Treasurer for the Minnesota Lyme Association and am also a Board Member for Play It Forward Foundation and a past board member for Advisornet Financial.
