CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Certification

The CFP® certification process is one way for individuals to decipher different financial planners from their competitors. A CFP® professional has met rigorous professional standards and have agreed to adhere to the principles of integrity, objectivity, competence, fairness, confidentiality, professionalism, and diligence. The CFP® certification is the most recognized in the industry for personal financial planning and only 17% of all financial advisors in the industry can claim this distinction.

The certification comes with extensive training in financial planning, estate planning, insurance, investments, taxes, employee benefits and retirement planning. In order to maintain the CFP® certification, a financial professional must take the time to continually educate themselves on the industry and stay ahead of changes. We adhere to this requirement and put an emphasis on educating both ourselves and our clients.

BEHAVIORAL FINANCIAL ADVISOR™

In addition to being qualified financial planners, all of our registered representative team members have completed the Behavioral Financial Advisor™ Certification program, a program designed to improve the moral and emotional competencies necessary to help our clients make better decisions throughout the financial planning process. Behavioral financial advice does not replace financial planning – it simply accompanies it by increasing the effective usage of the financial plan.
 
While most financial planners understand the core concepts and theories behind their financial advice, these theories are all based on the premise that investors and consumers make rational decisions without bias.
